About converting XCG
The Caribbean guilder is the current shared currency of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten, CBCS, introduced it as legal tender on March 31, 2025, with ISO code XCG and the symbol Cg. XCG replaced the Netherlands Antillean guilder code ANG in the two-country monetary union. It is therefore important to keep XCG and ANG separate in current conversion tools and historical records. CurrencyHub uses a neutral regional icon because the currency belongs to the shared Curaçao-Sint Maarten arrangement rather than to one national flag.
Use this page when you want to start with Caribbean guilders and compare them with multiple target currencies. The separate Caribbean Guilder profile page covers the ISO code, symbol, issuer, countries and reference information.
The amounts shown here are reference calculations for comparison. Banks, cards and transfer services may apply their own spreads, fees and timing rules.
Exchange-rate information is provided for reference only and is not financial, trading or investment advice.
