About converting SZL
The Swazi lilangeni is Eswatini's official currency and the unit used for domestic prices and payments. The Central Bank of Eswatini issues the currency within the Common Monetary Area relationship with South Africa. SZL is the ISO code used in international exchange-rate records. The singular form is lilangeni and the plural is emalangeni; one lilangeni is divided into 100 cents. The former country name Swaziland still appears in historical references, but current currency pages should identify the country as Eswatini.
Use this page when you want to start with Swazi emalangeni and compare them with multiple target currencies. The separate Swazi Lilangeni profile page covers the ISO code, symbol, issuer, countries and reference information.
The amounts shown here are reference calculations for comparison. Banks, cards and transfer services may apply their own spreads, fees and timing rules.
Exchange-rate information is provided for reference only and is not financial, trading or investment advice.
